Association of Indian Independent Music

The Association of Indian Independent Music (Association of Indian Independent Music) was incorporated on 22nd August 2023 as a Section 8 Company under the Companies Act, 2013. Association of Indian Independent Music is the representative body for the independent music industry in India (CIN: U88900OD2023NPL043532).

The Association provides a platform for independent music stakeholders to voice their concerns, access legal assistance, participate in policy formulation, and benefit from collective bargaining power in negotiations with streaming platforms, broadcasters, and other content distributors.

Objectives of the Association

• To establish fair compensation and revenue sharing standards
• To liaise with government bodies for favorable policies and regulations
• To provide legal assistance and dispute resolution services

• To combat piracy and unauthorized distribution of independent music content
